Cork's RedFM began broadcasting on 16 January 2002 as Ireland's first youth radio station, licensed to serve Cork city and county with a target audience of 15 to 35 year olds. It was launched by Henry Condon, a Cork native who had worked at Atlantic 252, and it picked up six PPI National Radio Awards in its first three years. After a relaunch in 2014, the station was acquired by Bauer Media Audio in 2023, and in 2024 it adopted the tagline "Cork's Good Times." It broadcasts on frequencies between 104 and 106 FM and streams online.
