CIXX-FM, branded 106.9 The X, is the campus radio station of Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. It is licensed by the CRTC as a community-based campus station and broadcasts with 3,000 watts from the college's M building, mainly covering London and nearby areas. Its format is rhythmic top 40, with a focus on hip-hop, R&B and dance hits, and much of it is run by students in the college's broadcasting and media programmes, which makes it a training ground for future radio talent. The station first went on air on 31 October 1978, briefly branded 6X-FM.
